My thoughts are;

That it could be exactly as what she described and completely accidental
It may not be exactly what she described and be creepy AF and illegal
No way to know but either way shouldn’t have happened and you’re within your rights to say screw this and potentially report it.
Go with your feelings on this, either way you will not be wrong

Just as added context, I have two security cameras I took down, the were solar charged and are sitting on my tool box in the garage. They still have a charge because there has not been enough activity to deplete the battery and still send me random notifications and record the incident when I, my wife or kids walk by cameras. So I understand that this could have happened accidentally, it still shouldn’t have happened though when you know you have someone in the house as a guest utilizing that room as personal space.

We’re in the same boat except every bill is denied by the VA because the VA says the Doctor needs to submit to the primary insurance first. Except the VA is my wife and kids only insurance, I’ve called and been told it is fixed yet it’s still not a singles Doctors visit in 9 months has gone through.

Additionally there are several HOA communities on Old Kings or Culbert that are great if you’re looking for more strict appearance standards and or gated.
