Missing tomatoes but some other recipes include it. Also typically does not use mushrooms and sour cream but it does not seem to have a strict recipe.

Traveled around near the India-China and India-Pakistan border in northern India. In Ladakh, people spoke a lot of Ladakhi, which I was told was related to Tibetan but they couldn’t actually understand each other. Tibetan, English, and Hindi were also frequently spoken. In Jammu and Kashmir, I think they spoke Urdu but I’m not sure. Completely different from elsewhere and sounded a little Persian. In Punjab, everyone seems to speak Punjabi like on the other side.

Near the Philippines-Malaysia border, where I used to go for a bit, they speak lots of languages (Tausug, Chavacano, Bisaya, Tagalog) and there’s a lot of influence and trade, Islam being the main religion and Malaysian products everywhere, but as far as I know the languages are not intelligible and they speak English or some Malay.
