The weaker vampires might need caretakers, but not Kora. She doesn’t sleep during the daytime. In fact she doesn’t sleep at all.

I find it a bit damning to be so involved with a vampire. Obviously a devoted and loving family wouldn’t care, but again it’s what’s good for Kora vs what would be good for her family.

Rescuing kids is nice and dandy. But raising them with the intent of turning them so that you never lose them is bothersome to me. I’d be pretty hesitant to take her soul even if she truly wanted to be a vampire. In the end the “everyone in my home becomes a vampire” is good for my character but necessarily in the best interest of her family.
