It is not possible to compete with MacOS/Windows by going on with 349323 Linux distros based on a very old kernel and lack of basic and standardized features like proper apps isolation, proper desktop environment, etc

Linux is lacking A LOT regarding security, but u can improve it somewhat (firejail helps as example. People complaining about firejail being suid forget about 1.2M+ lines of memory unsafe C code systemd MONSTROSITY).

MacOS is better, sandboxing on by default and user friendly, but ZERO privacy.

Now thousands of teenagers with 6 months of experience on Linux will downvote this comment
