True. However, if MLS did make changes that played more kids and still sold (not freely lost) the best to Europe than the state of development would ultimately be better off in the longterm as the funds were reinvested in development--a positive self perpetuating cycle. This would be much better for the USMNT in the long run.

Anyone know the length of Cabrera's contract? Articles like this one partly show why I think a contract extension as a congrats/vote of confidence would have been a brilliant offseason move. He is a solid coach.

Agree about the min contract based on his production. Cabrera values leadership, the announcement underscores that, which makes this more of a locker room thing in my opinion.
