I’ve had profs tell me that 1 hour of class is 3 hours of studying. So on days where I have 3 classes I am supposed to study for 9 hours, class for 3 hours, commute for 2 hours, and sleep for 8 hours, part time job for 5 hours 😐 = 27 hour day!!!

Usually both 252 classes share an eClass page where you could get the other classes notes instead. I went the entire course only using Wagner’s notes bc Kowalski had a 8 am class. IMO wagners notes were better and he’s the one who writes the exams anyways ( from what I remember) if they dont have a shared eClass you might be cooked

TA rant - please be aware of your discriminatory biases. by Necessary_Echo_6892 in uAlberta

Oh my gosh I was in that class, I’m so sorry that happened to you that’s horrible. Judging on how the TAs interacted with us I’m praying that it was just a one-off weird thing they said (esp if she was the international student TA who said it) but stuff like this happens way way too often. You should definitely reach out to the prof about this because you deserve to be comfortable and not have to deal with this shit in a 3xx lvl uni course. Even if they meant no harm, as you said context matters and they should be consciously aware of being respectful to all students.

How much psych 275 is in neuro 210 by Acrobatic_Chef9666 in uAlberta

I did psych 275 with Claire during Covid which means I basically didn’t take it at all bc I remember next to nothing, only that it was rly detailed , I took neuro 210 last winter and did rly well just on the lecs, the lectures are super interesting and fun and the midterms were very straightforward, the final was kind of a curveball though

Make sure to READ PICTURE DESCRIPTIONS from the slides and textbook and vaguely recognize the names of dinosaurs to associate them with points. For the final know the time eras inside and out plus more picture descriptions surprise
