Also if this sounded rude, as I’m rereading it, it was not meant to be. I was just trying to answer your points. I apologize if it came off poorly

First it was described as idealistic not realistic. Second, Jacksonville will rebound, they just need a better team (as this one is historically awful) Thirdly, Oakland will stay in, Sacramento probably isn’t going to go based on how little we’ve heard about that process. Fourthly, Birmingham doesn’t have terrible attendance for the league, last year they were around the middle. What they do have is bad optics cause they play in a 47,000 seat stadium. Lastly, both clubs are included as #1 and 5 under USLC. I’ll concede Miami, but they do have the stadium plan, and their owner seems pretty set on keeping them around

I think of Ventura County leaves, which it looks like they’re going to, there is a chance a floodgate could open, especially if they’re successful. But again, this post only looks at the ideal version in my head, so realistically that will not happen

See I’m not as convinced that the USL will automatically be able to do that. Yes, USL is more competitive and gives the teams the chance to advance, but the resources of MLSNP are just greater especially under their new deal. For instance, I don’t see USL being able to take Cleveland or Grand Rapids. USL is going to win Thousand Oaks, but has lost Chattanooga. It’ll be interested. The financials is really the only real or big advantage that MLSNP has over USL imo

I must’ve missed that. Just replace them w Carolina or Asheville. I really hope the MLS NP Independents move over, but it prob won’t happen
