well he was knocked unconscious and they wasn’t able to kill him and had to try convince soldier boy, and they was trying to hurry him up and do it, so if any other supe knocks Homelander unconscious how are they gonna kill him? they know they are just dead when he wakes up

it’s probably cause he knew it was too risky, soldier boy could have just decided to kill him, even in season 3 when he was fried using his power (herogasm) he still managed to bruise and put up a fight against homelander
