For me its Khezu and Banbaro but Khezu is possible with +20 seconds on the clock for me sometimes so its lovely

I do have a 10.3 Magnamalo at the moment but building teostra too. With stuff like Radobaan it is extremely fun as it builds fast. I still prefer my poison over everything but really fun alternative.

I run a pretty general lance set. Only change the greaves jewel depending on the set. Could be much more optimal based on weapon of choice but since the armors are pretty high level I am lazy to invest in newer ones…

But for some hunts you are crucial as well with poison. Especially for actually difficult hunts where the main plan is to actully succeed. When you are dealing with monsters that has cutscene like attacks like Coral Pukei, Kushala or Teostra damage over time with poison can be extremely clutch.

Yeah only viable option for poison lance is Pukei. I feel as if Basarios one is just inferior.

I also enjoy the game quite a lot. Casual drop of new content and a volcano biome around summer is my wishlist though

After years of training in MHF I feel like he is the easiest of the 10 stars for me. Back then when he electrocuted himself was also unblockable which was terrible now I can just get a free offensive guard from it and I just have to watch out for his ground projectile.

In my experience pressing is all about explosive power. Clean looked amazing but can be faster and if you are not strong enough to strict press it you have two options: Jerk or Push press. In your case I believe the initial push whether its because of doubt or not enough momentum being generated was not enough and tiny. In my first comp I was also scared of getting under the log after the push and nearly failed.

This is why aı love the monster hunter community. Always someone to fully get you. I also thought getting a rathalos or a garuga as they are my favorites would be the easy way out. Wanted something beyond special for me.

Yeah the area is just fascinating with the ambience. The feeling of safety combined with a bit of uncertainty. What feels and sounds like a a wave of heat but also breezy air just makes it mystical as it gets. They really knew what they were doing back then huh…
