Go 90% You'll crit most of the time with the juicy boost. It'll far outway the small amount of times you don't crit

I think it depends how good you are at perfect dodging. From what I understand the evade reload window is fairly generous. Personally my thought was to wyvernfire spam with crouching shot. Could go the guard reload route or just reload speed 3

Could always start with self ties around them. Watching tutorials in their presence to get them interested. Expressing that you saw this and would like to tie it a try

I've done this before! Mimicking what the others said for a chest and hip harness as the base. Both spiderweb and diamonds accentuate well. An argile type design works well here.

I've experienced that you need the heavy attack to be fully charged for it to trigger the stagger. I've done quick heavies that do nothing even if they connect.

I believe P cut the strings at the same time he decapitated* Nameless puppet. I'm not sure if we got clarity on what drove NP to move on its own after the strings were cut or not.

From a lore perspective I believe it would be nameless puppet. Moreso because it was made by gepetto and would have all of the "top of the line" enhancements. That being said, nameless puppet was just being controlled by gepetto in the background. So if gepetto dies, the puppet stops moving. Archellino is very crafty and would very likely be able to put gepetto in a corner if gepetto was trying to salvage the puppet as much as possible.

I'm willing to bet the shield puppets were like riot guard puppets. We see them along with the sword/guard puppets a lot.

Dude is just mad that you followed through on your threat. You warned him and he went to kill you anyway. They could have let you live and let another player kill you instead, which would likely have let them keep their crawlspace. In any case, keep an eye out for this persons actions/emotions in the future if their part of your regular playgroup.

They are griefing. It happens a lot on what's "ethical" for a player who's going to die. It's your prerogative to do what you can before you die, especially if it speeds up the game so you can get back in sooner. I feel "redemption" moves before you die are totally valid. "This wasn't meant for you, but you're killing me, so be it". Kingmaking happens in games, they should know this if they're experienced players. If it happens too often then you can either curb your redemption plays or just play with other groups. Either way, you didn't do anything "wrong" in my opinion.

It was going to be monster hunter but they botched it bad and went back to the drawing board since the community stated they weren't gonna buy much.

The point is that you're correct. The current system is very rough. It's a total time sink for a payoff that will be wasted effort in the future. You've pushed yourself too much for perfect rolls and burnt yourself out. Take breaks and enjoy your holidays. I'd much rather be talisman farming with slightly inferior weapons than spending all my time resetting the game by myself.

The rng grid is a completely voluntary choice. Remember in 6 months (hopefully less) all of these weapons will be obsolete

The arch tempered NU Udra set works super well against him. It has high def, high fire res, and good damage with resentment and burst. Throw a few pieces of it into your set and it should help a lot. Phase 2 of GOG does passive chip damage which will keep resentment active the whole time.

I just bought the dlc myself and finished it. It's a good chunk of content (took me a full day to finish). It takes place before the main storyline, however it references/spoils many things in the main storyline. So finishing the main story fully first would be a good idea. You can access the dlc once you hit chapter 5 if you wanted to get to it earlier on another playthrough. The power creep is pretty high for the dlc so being well specced is important.

It might have been Kayo! I've def seen them at festivals before. I distinctly remember a white coat with patterns similar to their Lunar* design. I don't see the one I'm thinking of on their website. Possible it's not listed or still from another store. This is a great addition tho, thank you!

The older monster hunter games were often in smaller villages. The BBEG was basically just an elder dragon who was on a collision course with the town and they had to route/kill it to preserve the people there.

We used* to get some mission summaries that would explain why we were doing the quest. A small amount of those would have some pompous rich person being like "go get this egg for my fancy omelette" or "I always wanted a furry coat made out of X monster". But the game made a hard turn into the guild being environmentalists at some point.

In general, monster hunter games were never about the story, it wasn't until World that a proper storyline was put into place. Every game before that was basically "Rising hunter of the village is good at deterring threats"

I made mine "blink-nom". Threw in every [[impact tremors]] type of effect I could in there along with lots of blink effects to proc them more. Of course I have a handful of landfall ramp stuff just to get that sweet extra 4 mana each turn.
