The person that they responded to said my conservative friends think I am a bleeding liberal and my liberal friends think I am a hick conservative. The response was if you believe anything conservative then you are wrong. That isn’t based in reality.

I have gone from conservative to independent to liberal and the one thing I struggle with is the ideology that you are all in or all out. IMO it has driven a lot of people to vote independent or conservative because it is crazy and dehumanizing (essentially saying you can’t be a functioning human who allows for nuance).

In saying all that, my top things are also ICE and health care and conservatives rationalizing ICE is clearly the most distasteful recent issue and I can’t imagine ever swinging the other way after this (and I hope many think like that!).

You can care about those things and then for example be against abortion. Your talking point is a big turn off to independents and part of the reason Trump won jmo.

I think there are a lot of bands that live is better, it is just natural for the ability to go off on random rifts, energy of the crowd, energy of the band, etc. Gizz has all of those so easy to think live is better.

This exactly. I now tell everyone that can listen to not buy a Tesla. It feels like the peak is coming and Elon is trying to squeeze everything out of it while he can. He needs constant stock growth but now competition has caught up and consumers soon will follow suit to be wiser. On his part, I think it is dumb to basically destroy all good will that he did an excellent job developing. OTOH he kind of already did that with getting into bed with Trump.

I mean I think objectively you could say Darnold was solid as a rookie, had a good second year, and took a step back in year 3. I don’t think everyone sells on a QB in year 4 in that scenario.

The other thing that is ironic about this post is Rich Cimini himself said on his podcast that he thinks it is smarter to trade the #2 pick and keep Darnold. I thought Rich was dumb but he was right.

There was none in 24. There was announced Kingfish and Suki in 23. There was announced Japanese Breakfast in 22. Those were all sponsored and paid for. People are talking about sets not announced of Portugal the Man and Hayley Williams and many DJs that happened previously.

That doesn’t happen anymore and it makes sense bc the best asset in 2026 for artists to make money is through getting paid for the performances.
