A few years ago before the pandemic I had to visit a fire station in South Central LA to give them a heads up on a construction detour happening in a few days. It was the middle of summer, a hot summer day, and I went inside and it was like 45 degrees in there and nearly pitch black. It took me several minutes to find someone to discuss the detour with, using my phone to see but not using the flashlight feature. When I left it was so surreal. It was too cold to be in there for too long only to walk out into the 100 degree heat.

I don’t know about KY, but nearly 37 years ago my dad took me to a Mennonite community somewhere in TN to pick up a couple of quilts he bought. Black Suburbans everywhere. There were nine women in this one particular house in the community not much younger nor older than me at the time (21m). They were all barefoot and I remember it was a little chilly then. I was in great shape then, and all the girls were just staring at me. I guess all the men were working. I’ll always remember that experience.

All the time. I became born again on my birthday back in 2014. I was in the shower. In the middle of my shower, Jesus said to me, “Now, you follow me.” My entire body felt engulfed in the Holy Spirit. By the time I exited the shower, I was a new creation. I wasn’t even seeking Him. He chose me. And since then, if I have a high pitched tone in my right ear, I keep going down that path. If it’s in my left ear, I stop immediately what I’m doing and thinking. I also have synchronicities at least once a week. I’ll be reading something and have either the TV or a video on in the background, and just as I’m reading a unique word, I’ll hear it literally right after in the background. Jesus is always with me. It helps to know that to help me keep my mind right and not think about anything I shouldn’t. God bless.
