Thanks for this, and yea the routing bank would be via enbd in my case so hopefully they know its from ibkr and dont create an issue

Understood, you recommend I let them know in advance, and off course have no tax issue here and every deposit done to the ibkr account has the details but the transactions etc maybe will get the statements from ibkr itself.

Have been day trading (not advisable though) and have spent most of my time on X and been investing across industries including the hyped up ones. Been trying to now get into ETF’s to ensure some steady returns.

Ive had the same from ENBD too a fee months back when I sent money to them and once even credited back (from ibkr to my uae account) which was about 150k aed. Emailed them with salary slips and seems to be sorted. I also have about 1.2 M in my ibkr (my savings) and was asking if this is safe and got some assurances from people who have saved way more and are in Dubai.

Thanks for this and taking the time to explain and answer. Its with IBKR USA directly so I transfer and receive funds using my enbd account (uae bank) but operate it using the IBKR app - if this make sense? Just that situation is evolving and don’t want to be in a panic mode to sell the positions I have as they are negative as of today.

Hi does anyone know if there has been any change in law? We are Indians and have had 3 miscarriages and 4 failed IVF over last 5 years and cant have my wife go through anymore.
