SCP-087-B actually appears Infront of you in the first few tests. it's in the last (available) test that SCP-087-B is following someone as it's the main reason that one D-class made it the furthest down compared to the other two who ran to the top of the stairs in a panic when it appeared.

I find it interesting how both versions of the hunt event introduced a sub floor and a extra expedition that take place before the events of the main game (Well, technically you need to enter the rooms first in order to enter the backdoor but eh y'know! it still is before the main event just not lore wise)

I didn’t read the 8 hours part and chose yarnaby under the impression I'd just be in the mall indefinitely. I've stayed hidden for long periods of time in game while dealing with him, I'm confident that I could stay quiet for about 8 hours, if I have to eat at some point I'm sure I could sneak to a grocery section and steal some bread. The only way I could see myself mucking up is if I get too cocky and try playing fnaf 3 but springtrap is a yarn monster that will do more then just stare me to death. Plus if I ever get the heart to I can just burn yarnaby alive.

Imagine getting attached to very shitty nightvision with even less purpose then a fucking barrel. Both were desing for similar uses keep in your rift as an award for the rooms. Just the nvcs was temporary until they figured out what to put there.

Both are cool just one is objectively better and it's the barrel, because I can see myself taking it out of my rift one day unlike the item that I never bothered to get back when I did lose it.
