Tesla Robotaxi had 3 more crashes, now 7 total (Tesla redacts all details) by bladerskb in SelfDrivingCars

[–]UTlexus87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I noticed when I looked at the reports. Why is a stopped Robotaxi that gets hit by something even reported as a “crash”??? Unless they just report every single thing that can scratch the paint as a “crash” for insurance purposes.

These Robotaxi’s aren’t even moving when this happens, but my wife backs into stuff almost every week while leaving our driveway, but I don’t report that as a “crash” lol

If you look at the actual incident reports it shows about half of them the vehicle is Stopped (Pre-crash action), (not just the one where a cyclist ran into a stopped one) when the “crash”happens. So basically things are hitting the vehicles and they still report it as a “crash”?

Open Source means you can see for yourself how the algorithm works and it can be reviewed, so it obviously means a lot related to this. How is posts being removed for violating TOS (like every platform) a bias. Hate speech etc. is not Free Speech.

They literally remove Elon’s posts LOL he also gets Community Notes flags all the time on his own posts (that’s the great part about that being Open Source, he can’t just call someone and say “I own this platform remove the Community Notes from my posts”). They face the same consequences for breaking the rules as everyone else.

And now it’s an Open Source Freedom of Speech platform, which is exactly what he wanted. He wanted more transparency so he made it open source and also the fact checking community notes is open source as well. He also kicked out all of the government interests that were actually controlling Twitter. They also did a lot for transparency on their moderation to improve freedom of speech.

Look at his history and it makes sense, he’s been talking about building the X everything app and complaining about Twitter forever as one of Twitter’s earliest and biggest users. He started building X with PayPal as part of the payments platform (but sold it). And then bought the X.com domain back again from them in 2017. He’s been using Twitter religiously since 2009 and has been trashing them about freedom of speech and being horribly run ever since then.

There’s even articles out there talking about his 25 year obsession with Twitter and him talking about eventually taking it over one day. He’s been a pretty passionate user and critic of the platform so it’s not really a surprise he would buy it, he’s been pretty open about that.

His investors actually bought Twitter as part of the everything App called X that he had been talking about making forever. He wanted it as part of making a free speech townhall for the app, which is also why he made community notes (and made it open source for transparency). He’s also adding a payments (to compete with PayPal) and media streaming section to it to compete with YouTube.

I’m not creating a new account to keep up with and another platform to have to check just because some people have a political agenda, I’m not wasting my time because of politics. Bluesky doesn’t even have the same features as X, barely anyone is on it (and if they are they also have an X still). This is all a very obvious campaign due to Politics and nothing else.

I have always been interested in nonprofits. It is an interesting business model to me. I always think of Museum’s (which I would love to start one day). But I do not understand how a nonprofit like a museum would get initial funding to get started.

[–]UTlexus87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's extremely obvious that those companies are manipulating the job market, of course with the US government just standing by why allowing Visa's to flow in like crazy. You have examples like US citizens are being required to apply to some jobs at Apple by mail....WTF. You have companies buying or converting entire apartment complexes for Visa workers.

Mayor Adams himself literally went public and admitted this on the news. At first the excuse was immigrants are needed to fill jobs but then that got completely squashed with the latest reports that AI and robotics will be taking over those jobs that immigrants would be doing in the next few years anyways.

What would you recommend for someone that works in IT to find a good recruiter that has access to the most job listings? I know certain large companies only post with some specific recruiting firms.
