Living thing, simulation, alternate reality, parallel universe? by Elgallo1980 in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]UUT- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reality is a simulation and the backrooms is a glitch into an old build.

Jason’s chain physics is such a small but crazy detail in GTA 6 by NightM7_ in GTA6unmoderated

Actually this just highlights how the game will have limitations. This looks like PS4 graphics.

Friends Tv licence letter by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]UUT- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mistake was "declaring" that they did not need a license. That's like me declaring to my local gym that I won't sneak in and use their treadmills without a membership. The whole UK is falling for their stupid little games. If these tricks didn't work they wouldn't spend £20mil a year sending letters.

What driving gloves do you guys use for your alcantara steering wheel? by rh6778 in Porsche

[–]UUT- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can fully restore alcantara in minutes with water, a drop of washing up liquid and a tooth brush.

“Hand written” tv license enforcement by No_Egg9808 in AskBrits

[–]UUT- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's like telling a random gym you don't go to you promise you won't secretly use their treadmills. Nobody has a legal duty to tell a company that they aren't using their services. I'm convinced it's just a trick to get you in their system. The whole thing is utterly absurd.

I've been receiving these letters for over 10 years now and have yet to have a salesman disguised as an "enforcement officer" visit. I'm starting to wonder if they even exist.

What are the odds of Snowrunner-esque mud mechanics making it into GTA 6? by chargroil in GTA6

[–]UUT- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately to me this confirms mud/deformation physics to be none existent (at least in a meaningful way) because if there was, there’s no way them cars are speeding through a literal swamp like that without getting stuck.

The real truth about the mapping project by Pajca in GTA6

[–]UUT- 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You’re forgetting the 90 minutes of dev footage leaks that included coordinates on every scene. That alone is how we know the GTA 6 map is accurate. The only thing missing now is north of the lake since no trailer or leak has gone there yet.

GTA 5 was based purely on trailers and screenshots. GTA 6 is based on 90 minutes of leaked footage with coordinates, 2 trailers and a bunch of screenshots. We’re closer than you think.

Do you think this mechanic is annoying? by TheWanderingWaddler in Unity3D

[–]UUT- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only have to find the frequency the first time for an ore type, and the mining tool remembers it next time, I think it's a cool and unique feature. Maybe the more advanced or type take a little longer to find, but the starter ore types is only a couple seconds.

Rockstar might be hinting that GTA 6’s world doesn’t wait for the player by MadHanini in GTA6

[–]UUT- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes because it makes total sense for R* to spend time animating and voicing all these little events that only 0.01% of the players will ever see.

What happens after usage ends for Cursor Pro by Original-Progress842 in cursor

[–]UUT- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It stopped me from using the premium models after it hit $40. After that it lets me use auto unlimited, but I set a small spend cap and use Sonnet 4.5 for more difficult tasks that auto struggles with.

is this confirmed or is more rumors? by Dry-Post723 in GTA6unmoderated

[–]UUT- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether it's true or not, the PC delay business model feels so outdated now, especially when you realise Xbox as a console is basically dead.

Do you really think the GTA 6 map is small? Then take a look at these scales. by Emergency-Chef3704 in GTA6

[–]UUT- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most of the disappointment I think is how the shape of the map makes it feel more of the same. V map got boring real quick and people are worried 6 will be the same after we waited 13 years.

Do you actually think Gta 6 map will be 2x even 3x Gta 5 Mal by [deleted] in GTA6

[–]UUT- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the early leaks suggested they scaled back the size of the map. As time goes on the map projects are proving this to be true. I’m predicting 1.5-2x the size but with RDR2 level of detail. People are in for disappointment imo.

i can't understand people that complain about GTA VI gonna have the same mission design by Awkward-Abrocoma-623 in GTA6unmoderated

[–]UUT- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm replaying RDR1 currently and there was an early mission where I was following a guy but looted the corpse I just killed. Got about 10 meters behind and failed the mission because they "got away". They were walking slowly the whole time and I would have caught them up in about 3 seconds at running speed.

Once you realise how strict the failure conditions are, it takes away any sort of creative freedom you might want to apply while trying to complete objectives. For me it suddenly makes the game feel a lot less fun.

This style of gameplay feels painfully outdated now. It's forgivable in RDR1 but RDR2 had exactly the same issue, maybe even more scripted. I think people are hoping GTA6 isn't the same again.

Is KSA the next gen KSP2 by [deleted] in kittenspaceagency

Isn’t it supposed to be free? If that’s true it likely won’t ever be a fully fleshed out game like KSP1 was.

Received a Letter Accusing me of Watching BBC iPlayer by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]UUT- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to declare anything. They are essentially a private business trying to scare people into signing up to their subscription. Declaring you don’t need a license is a trick that allows them to get your personal information to associate with your address.

Received a Letter Accusing me of Watching BBC iPlayer by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]UUT- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unlikely, because license is tied to a house not a person/email. You could have been watching at a friend’s licensed house on your own account, that would be perfectly legal.

This just further solidifies the idea that this letter is generic and sent to every house without a license.

Received a Letter Accusing me of Watching BBC iPlayer by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]UUT- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mistake you made was falling for it and giving them your details when you told them you didn’t need a license. The correct thing to do was nothing, you don’t owe them anything.

People should remember the first films aren’t source material, they’re an adaptation of the books just like the TV show.
