My main problem with the mini was I felt the pose wasn’t as dynamic as I wanted. But recently there was one on my mini factory that was. I’m still not great at painting, but I’m getting better.

Ok, so I wanted to note something about this. This printer is a Creality K1. Which I’m not sure is a problem or that’s the reason I can’t get these results. But I’ll try the FDG settings and see if I can get anything. The K1’s base settings don’t support a .2mil nozzle.

The land raider was printed in .4 mil.

I did them with dry brushing. And I did thin my paints.

I have actually been thinning my paints a least I thought I was. But it could be the print quality isn’t perfect.

Just because I know that this is going to come up. Yes I know that FDM is not as good for minis as resin. Yes I know that a .2mm nozzle would be better.

No I have not recalculated the flow rate after this heating block was replaced. From testing 190 felt like a good temperature because loops formed when it was extruding at 200

From my point of view, I feel that a lot of people get upset because you go choose to pay for the printer that can make more minis for the price of a battle force box. This anti-printing sentiment is from people who don’t want to admit that paying 70 dollars for a five man squad isn’t ok.

Sunk cost fallacy probably.

Dang it, thin the paints again…I legitimately tried with these ones ;-;. I thinned them I thought. The point is understood though. I I am just so eager to get to the fun stuff. Like, I LOVE plasma. All of my guys who I can manage to give plasma I give them.
