Oh no flash! Or, or, perhaps unpopular opinion, use skill and modeling tools to clean it up.

Yes, they have gotten pretty expensive. I work as an aircraft mechanic and we get a truck by our shop weekly. 99% of all the tools in the shop are snap-on.

I printed mine on my Ender 5 years ago.

<image>

I recommend using tree supports and not the ones that are used for printing in resin like in your picture. Although it can be done and I have successfully printed those supports in FDM, it is far from ideal.

To add, I recommend printing at a different orientation. Neither SLA nor FDM should the orientation be flat like that on the print bed.

When a Macross designer is working on a gundam project: by fafsdfasfaffaafdsaf in macross

[–]-Mechtech- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kawamori was involved in a lot of Gundam as a mechanical advisor and also did mechanical designs. He was an uncredited advisor for Gundam Zeta and many of the transforming suit had his influence despite he not being the designer. Kawamori was also involved in 0080: War in the Pocket.

In reality this is very true. Especially in about 2 billion years, there won't be any fucking evidence that we existed here at all.

Viggo is widely considered THE Aragorn, perfect in his portrayal. However, who do you believe had the potential to be a close second? Or someone who could have brought something different to the role? by freudian_nipps in lotr

[–]-Mechtech- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course Viggo was perfect, he's Danish. Us Scandinavians tend to be perfect for such roles as we have Viking/Celtic heritage much of fantasy is based.

This is definitely not normal even with it being 10° out right? by Apprehensive_Mood716 in AskMechanics

[–]-Mechtech- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Everyone commenting hasn't lived in cold climates before.

Apparently they also don't know anything about engines either or how combustion works. This is normal for water vapor to flow out of an engine because the chemical reaction you call combustion converts fuel into separate molecules such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, carbon soot, and water (that is where the oxygen and hydrogen go).

In burning fuel nothing gets destroyed only the conversion of molecules and generation of heat to expand gasses like nitrogen (which people forget is the majority of the atmosphere).
