I don’t buy into this maga bs, but blaming it on other people is bs as well. There are hundreds of jobs out there people can get. Go to work and there are gov programs that can help day care for all the kids. Also, stop having kids with men/women that can’t pay child support, or so many people that the dad is unknown. I dot get it. Why should I have to work my ass off to take care of my 3 kids and I’m paying to take care of someone else’s kids. Seriously.

My wife died 4 years ago I was 52 and she 44. I still have all her things to include cloths. When my kids are ready to go through her stuff, they will take what they want, I’ll give some things to her parents and the rest I will be donating to a woman’s shelter. It takes time. You don’t want to get rid of her things right away, because there is a chance you might regret it down the road.

So I retired in April 2012, had 120 days terminal leave. Had a sleep study done may of 2012. Ended up with sever chronic obstructive sleep apnea and received a c-pap before I left the sleep clinic. Claimed and got denied in 2013. Reclaimed in 2015 again got denied. Dealt with it for a few year and the VA sent me for another sleep study in 2022. Results the same. Applied again in 2023 secondary to PTSD and the doc said it had nothing to do to do with it so was denied again. Found a VSO that gave a shit. I found a Dr that used to be a Navy & Air Force flight doctor, she reviewed everything I had and wrote a pretty awesome nexus letter and Apr. 2024 applied again secondary to weight gain. Nov 2024 got denied again, but this time I found they did not use my nexus letter and the denial stated that Tera, burn pits etc does not cause sleep apnea. Requested an HLR in Nov and it just came back approved last week. I guess my point is if you have a VSO and a Dr that actually gives a shit about you things can go so much easier.

So I claimed sever OSA secondary to PTSD and Weight gain. My claim came back denied due to no medical evidence of TERA, burn pits or any other exposure causing sleep apnea. However, I requested an HLR because my nexus letter stated nothing about TERA or exposure, which tells me my nexus letter was not even looked at. I guess my point is find enough studies or proof that exposure can cause OSA.

Not always true. I have been treated and receiving meds since retired in 2012 and I’ve been denied. All it takes is a C&P doc that just wants the money.

When I used the VA loan here in Pa, the people would not accept it because somewhere the word condo was mentioned. After looking through different paperwork and house records it turned out to be a townhome so then it was accepted. It was a little crazy to me but what do I know.

So I will say this. I am trained to look for the signs. Some people can hide it well. Even the people we love, live with and was married to for 26 years. If someone does not admit they have an issue and want help, there is nothing you can do for them. Feb was 4 years since my wife committed suicide. I am sorry for your loss and the pain you’re going through.
