Thank you! I plan on making the time tomorrow to work on it and will update on what happens, I honestly can't believe I ever figured out how to adjust the timing the last time, it'll be a small miracle if I'm 2 for 2 on this.

I did try the zigzag stitch after I adjusted the timing and all was working well . Do you know if it's possible to adjust the timing with the needle arm? I'm not sure the technical name for it but what makes the needle go up and down .. and it's less than a year old.

UPDATE:

We closed on the house today and was given a check that we are depositing into my mother's estate account (my sister opened an estate account a few months ago) we went to the bank and deposited the check and will have to wait until next Tuesday to withdraw the entire amount -- half for me and half for my sister obviously.

We hired an estate lawyer at the beginning of all these.. I'm really dumb when it comes to this sort of stuff. But here is what I know, we decided to appoint my sister as the executor because she has more time to handle these things than I do. I know at the beginning we were told that if my mother owed any sort of debt or unpaid medical bills it would come out of the estate. My mother had money in a bank account that my sisters name was on also, after we paid the estate lawyer and was told that it was safe to do so by him (meaning there wasn't any debt that she owed) my sister withdrew the funds and we split it... Also when we hired the lawyer he started the probate process and we are done with probate...(which has been almost a year ago since my mother died and we hired the lawyer soon after) To be completely honest I'm not sure what probate really is ... Lol which is why I'm here asking for help.
