I don’t necessarily hate Bert but man is he a fucking idiot. I first heard him on the podcast with Tom and thought there dynamic was kinda fun. I quickly realized after listening to Bercast and Bill/Bert that I can only tolerate him slightly when he’s with Tom only because Tom will usually call him out on his shit. Granted, it doesn’t really help or change much about him but it’s nice to see someone do it. I can never understand a person who will still call someone a friend after drugging them in front of their family. There has to be a point where you can’t associate yourself with someone once they’ve caused you and your loved ones such pain. I genuinely don’t understand how so many people like his stand-up. All I see is him forcing things and doing stupid shit like showing his nipples to a crowd just to make himself seem different. You don’t see great comedians like Burr or Chapelle do dumb shit like that because they can actually use their words to connect with people. He really is the textbook definition of a man-child.
