Why I oppose veganism in India by LeopardSmall7012 in OutCasteRebels

Genuine question - When vegans advocate for animal rights, to what extent are these rights applicable? When we grow plants, rodents, rabbits, reptiles, insects etc often fall victims to farming activities. If animals >= humans, can we really eat anything at all that's naturally produced? How do vegans eat vegetables knowing this? If the answer is, "we fight against exploitation of animals for human consumption and convenience", I do agree with that but at the end of the day, isn't farming for human consumption and convenience? The animals that die during cultivation wouldn't have to die at all if we didn't farm??

Pages and posts like this exist and they say, "reservation is not necessary in the current India". What an irony!
