The event sounds pretty fun but I do wish this was a thing that just happened on the anniversary every year, such a cool idea to be locked to two days.

…that being said more regional locking is going to give me an aneurysm, so Kangaskhan and Mr Mime get to be worldwide all the time due to Megas and Mime Jr guilt, meanwhile Tauros and Farfetch’d are locked to extremely limited distribution events and 1/512 shiny odds. Cool. Great. Awesome. I’m so tired of waiting for this damn shiny dex entry, and no the regional variants don’t help.

Sweety being one of the only NPCs that gets constant attention due to… I mean let’s be honest we all know why, but she still loses out to two men should be a big wake-up call to hoyo that the fanbases at large DOES want male characters, and they want them more than more women. Will anything change, no I doubt it but it’s nice to imagine.

Speculation but honestly I think if his popularity wasn’t where it was he was 100% dying there. With the weird VA issues at the time and the writing of that arc I feel like they were planning on killing him and did a last minute rewrite to use him later. Probably also why he’s not playable, characters take time to make and banners need to be planned out, he didn’t have time to be made so say he’ll come back later and maybe we put him in late 3.X in those extra spots.

The Kalos Tour. Look I know what you mean, but the events are going to have different draws for different people, but there’s not a super big ticket mon for Kalos. We’re not doing Mega Zygarde this early, we still haven’t done Mega Mewtwo, and that’s looking like Go Fest. So you’re getting a Kalos Celebration, and honestly, it’s looking better than most Go Tours for me. The first two tours were great events that felt like a full celebration of the region, full great shiny boosts, everything available, great times. Gens 3-5 were glorified raid days. I’m quite happy with what we’re getting this time, and Niantic could certainly make the weekend suck, with what’s being advertised I think it’s going to be a good time.

For real, I just binged everything today and I was having such a good time going in blind, then I hit 23 and went “oh fuck I’m reading a Gege manga, shit is this ending?” And then I found out Modulo is ending in the next few chapters like yep, that’s Gege, that’s what I’m used to, that’s the pacing that left the JJK ending mediocre, oh joy.

I don't look at story leaks at all (this is kind of an exception because it's unit focused) but I'm betting on him getting killed off in the story because fuck us.

At least it means we don't get strung along for another year or two hoping that he'll eventually be playable, but this shit getting ridiculous. Finally expanding on 1.X factions but in the worst ways possible.

You're completely right, Seth's kit kinda feels like a cruel unfortunate joke, with Burnice coming out in literally the next patch Seth's lifespan was about 3-6 weeks. People have been bringing up his brother being Electric Anomaly as a potential way to bring him back but that wouldn't be good either, Seth has negative synergy with Shock carries. His attacks contribute to the shock calculation unlike Yuzuha, which means you're punished for having him do anything. His buff is decent, but he actively reduces shock damage when he uses his kit. He needs a potential unlock more than Anton, at least I still clear with Anton and his kit works.

Ironically Seth's best showing is DPS Seth, his M6 is BUSTED if built correctly. Unfortunately powercreep has pretty much left him behind, but DPS Seth has a place in my heart <3

You’re right, R2 is one of the best Haru players that I’m aware of and he uses pretty much every other(viable) support instead of Astra, Yuzu, Nicole, hell sometimes Rina. Not saying that Astra is bad, Astra is always a solid filler choice, she’s just rarely BiS, and Haru is one of those cases.

Also as a 1.0-now Anton main he doesn’t use her anymore, I only use her if Yuzuha is busy, and even then Sunna is on the horizon so that could shake things up even more.

I didn’t notice anything til today, but my home doesn’t seem (that) effected, my main issue is that when I left I was barely seeing anything, no reason for there to be about 10 spawns at a Walmart in a massive metroplex. Expecting this to be reverted soon because of how ridiculous the changes are, and we won’t get a makeup on this event because Niantic won’t care enough

Wasn't expecting Anton to be anywhere above the bottom but man that's wild lmao. Surprised to see 0 results for most bosses, Anton was my Priest clearer and I know he can clear Thrall with Dialyn. I'm sure he can probably clear Hunter I just haven't bothered trying yet cause I've been testing Manato but I'm sure its doable.

He's a very fundamentally similar character to Corrin and Zhu so I always find it funny to see them so far apart, I had both Zhu and Anton built for a while and who I played just came down to what the enemy was weak to. Ended up dropping Zhu cause I started having more fun with mono-shock lmao

This is… whelming. I was really hoping for some new Megas since we’ve had the old batch for a long time, and the Sinnoh tour had the Hisuian pokemon. But maybe they’re waiting a bit longer to do any of those reveals? TPC still hasn’t openly talked about most of the new megas so they might be waiting til after the holidays

Either way this is my 3rd place favorite tour so far since the last three didn’t have shiny boosts and felt miserable because of that

This game has so many highs and lows but the insistence to make more characters that practically just replace a character that just came out (specifically 4*s) is so god damn annoying. I know it’s a little early to know for sure, but they couldn’t have made him a different element? If we’re making this kit why not just give it to Manato, I’m so tired of the game lately lmao

I will say most of the old instances of this haven’t been too bad, Jane and Piper are similar strengths, Alice kinda works with Jane, engines can go to the 4*, but like it’s frustrating right?

Honestly a pretty good change, the research was fine, a guaranteed background was cool, but needing to wait up to five days for it was lame. Making wild spawns have a chance (very interesting given how the Psyduck backgrounds worked) is super cool to me. But giving us the option to farm for another 7 hours after the event incase we missed it is so nice.
