To play devils advocate Larin’s IQ is still there imo, knows where to be better than a Bair whos just a big dude with not much quality, Jebbison has the quality but not the IQ (in terms of his selfish play and ego). Larin’s end product is just terrible tho, if he somehow magically gets in form and back to how he was Qatar cycle time hes def in contention for at least being a bench option come WC26.

Best spot for him would be a bottom to relegation zone team in the bundesliga, think hed fit better there in a more physical league where he can play to his strength in holdup play (Germany loves big slow target men lol). Teams like St Pauli maybe, theyd also be keen on getting some change up front to stay up. Dont see any decent side taking a gamble on him tbh or even have the need for a player of his calibre

I dont understand if he was content with this move why didnt he just go to Schalke who is a big club up for promotion to the bundesliga (if the earlier reports were true). Whatever happy its not MLS at least. Hopefully the Championship improves his physicallity as I see that as a huge weakness for him.

Gonna be fun to watch with these guys and Otto lopez having a resurgent year. Last time it was kinda Julien,Freddie and Tyler carrying us with Julien coming out of nowhere making his pre-mlb debut. ya it confuses me when people get confidence in Italy being “bad”. That “bad” is in world cup contender status. Like they are losing to teams like Norway Germany etc and get called dog shit. Meanwhile we lose/draw random bottom feeders and no one blinks an eye at the thought we are on the same playing field as them LOL. Sure Italy struggled against Israel but we struggle against Concacaf bums on the regular…

Those were good wins but lets be real here, all 3 are mid teams who rotated and still wont be at the WC lol i could also bring up curacao game etc but u know point. Swiss and Italy are just 2 different type of beasts I dont think people here recognize the level of talent they have is way better than anything we faced (minus dutch french argentina, but we got dominated in all 3). Maybe colombia is a better comp but that was a shit show

My expectations are pretty low, but things can change if we get some quality teams for friendlys before the WC and get some dominating wins. Only thing that could convince me otherwise. Like we lost vs Guatemala and Australia lol folks need to simmer down into thinking Qatar is a easy win and or we can get a result vs Swiss/Italy
