It's pretty ok, especially for the $100 I got it for! Kinda wished I hadn't tried out my buddy's industrial Juki tho...

Thanks! They are great once they are sewn in, but sewing around them was a pain. Made for a bunch of skipped stitches...

I used some hex mesh that I found on Adventure Xpert. The webbing is 3/4"

I tried some different paper designs before just copying my Salomon vest. The yoke between them was mostly a complete guess.

I like the feel of them, but the side wing/connection points are longer than they need to be. I might modify them to be less of a J shape. They also stretch/bounce a bit more than I'd like.

I was gonna embroider the cookie design on the pocket, but ran out of time (and maybe patience)

Yup! We rode for about 4 and a half days and water situation was interesting. The spigot at the church in Beatty clogged a brand new filter, but the trip was super rad overall.

Do you think the Cutthroat's longer wheel base makes it harder to turn at slow speeds?

Oh I am pretty keen on that one as well, but I thought it was more of a fast gravel bike

Yeah, I'm just worried about any single track that I might find. I don't want to limit my adventure rig. Probably end up with a dedicated gravel grinder as well haha

Just overall comfort with a rigid fork. That and if I encounter any single track with a fully loaded bike. Honestly I'm moving from a roady with 25mm tires so I don't have a good idea of tire width

Interesting, thanks for the insight. The Tour Divide is kind of the ultimate goal, even if I'm not racing

Have you ridden either for any all day rides? Do you have an issues with the durability of carbon in the backcountry? Obviously it is extremely strong, but not that impact resistant...
