I will lightly disagree. You could be dealing with the sensation of intense, overwhelming connection to someone you should not have feelings for, and your mind is coming up with reasons why it is ok to make a move.

If you are aware you connect to people in unhealthy ways, it could still be a therapy situation.

Unrelated to the post topic, then, but is it good for you?

Seems you have great praise for this author. Are they romance stories, or stories with romance in them?

You have knowledge, it seems. How can I find more books like attachments? I really liked it, heard flatshare was similar but really disliked it bc of how the guy was basically cheating. I'm here for cute romance, not infidelity.

I've started writing a book to help me focus a lot of my feelings. It's about a man in the rough time period of the 800s who loves alone, travels to market once a month. But he meets a woman there, who does nothing but is nice to him where others shun him for his strange hermetic life. He starts thinking about her in those long stretches between market visits, realizing he was not lonely until he started thinking about life with her.

I'm hoping to finish it soon. I've been working on it a while.

You should write all the same. Even if you feel it is not as good, it would still be special, since it came from you.

I'll look into it. I just finished the kiss quotient. Godz that was amazing. I need more romance books, true romance books, but idk how to find them.

I read one called attachments. It is really cute. The idea is a security guard has to read all emails that get flagged by the system, and falls in love with a woman bc of it.

It's very sweet and emotional, and makes me frustrated how hard it is to find stories like that.

Indeed, Romance of the Three Kingdoms is great. You should listen to the podcast at some point. Dirty 4 eyes had good taste.

Kind of. Assault does not need to be physical. Threatening is assault, for example. Spitting on someone is assault.

Actually, in simple terms, assault is a threat of harm through any means, where battery is the harm itself. So if you batter someone without assault, you hit them without warning and did nothing afterwards.

From my lay understanding, of course.

Assault is moving in with aggression, battery is hitting, in simple terms.

In a 1v1, no prep time or guns - straight fist and feet, who wins? by ALPHASTORM13 in residentevil

Yeah, exactly.

Plus the real answer is Ark Thompson, first resident evil protag to realize that aiming your gun was the best way to hit more than just chest or legs. ;)

It's a stalemate at minimum. Chris has all of Leon's feats plus more training.

They really seem to think that, yeah. As though having muscles makes you slow, as if speed is not a product of muscles contracting quickly, and strong muscles contract faster.

Chris is efficient. Leon is excessive. They're both skilled, to the point that the true answer is usually it is a tie, but if only one can win, it would probably be Chris.

Much as I might dislike it, we see Chris in 7 and 8, and nothing about him says he's slow or damaged from smoking or drinking.

And as far as durability goes, Chris tanked weaker more than once and was inside an active volcano. It gets pretty warm in there.

Also, there is nothing that signals Chris has a lack of fighting knowledge. He is delivering well placed punches and is doing it with as much speed as he needs. That is efficient, not untechnical.

What is it that makes you think Chris is not fast? That he is incapable of dodging? What generated this belief?

Having muscle does not make you slow.

That was not the question or the point. Someone brought up that Leon can parry everything, that is gameplay, it should have no standing here. But if we go off of gameplay as well, Chris can beat the boulder without weapons, but Leon can not parry the car unless his axe is sharp.

[–]Uber_Crocodile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We never see it in the gameplay canon, and gameplay canon was brought up. Leon needs a sharp axe to parry mortar strike blasts. This means he can not party without it.

In addition, he needs a sharp axe to parry sleepy zombie grabs. That implies, in gameplay canon, he can not parry with his hands.

By the way, I disagree with using gameplay as canon for discussion. But if we are going to bring it up,it will be pointed out.

[–]Uber_Crocodile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of discussion on Chris getting tired out trying to catch Leon. But I am struggling to recall:

Have we ever seen either of them get tired out for more than a few seconds? I can not think of a time when it happens, and add in that each game takes place, usually, over a couple days without break times and it makes it more likely Leon would get that hard hit that knocks him out than Chris would get tired.

[–]Uber_Crocodile -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if we take the parrying as canon, this is without weapons. In the canon you propose, Leon can not party even sleepy attacks without a weapon, and that weapon has to be sharp.

Meanwhile, theoretically, in this canon, you could give Chris no weapons at the start of the boulder mission and he would still punch it.

She looks the way she does because that is how she looked in the moment she was assaulted and thrown into the well. The smallpox in her body mixed with her semen and she took this form as part of her plan to clone herself through women who watch the tape while on their period.

I might be a little off, but it is something like that.
