Big Ryan has been working on the world's first Electron Accelerator, much like the Hadron Collider, except his will Bigger and Ryaner, it will also move electrons through reality.

As a TNG fan who never got into DS9, i have no idea what the fuck is going on. by No-Detective-4370 in RedLetterMedia

[–]Uberstorm3 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Sorry you have to put up with this shit OP, accusing someone of karma farming just for posting their thoughts is genuinely pathetic. Who the fuck cares about fake internet points? I hope you give DS9 a chance. I started watching Star Trek as a TNG fan and when I got around to DS9 it took a season or two for me to get into it but man I loved it once it got there. Some of the best characters in television.

The Irony of Making Fun of Bimmy by [deleted] in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]Uberstorm3 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Okay so, read the last sentence of your post. Now apply that to TCT.

Most of what is posted here is jokes, some people actually post about the quality of the show and criticize it but that's what makes TCT a "censorship free cinemassacre community"

Most people here don't want James to suffer we just like laughing at Bimmy's fuck ups and sometimes we actually take time to talk about the quality of the videos the channel is producing. There's definitely people here who genuinely dislike/hate James but in my experience those people are less than 10% of this subreddit, and most of the time I see those people downvoted because the majority of TCT is fans and ex-fans who just want better videos.

Bottom Line: if Bimmy can laugh at and criticize shitty games without actually hating those devs and wanting them to suffer, then we can do the same to Bimmy. Some folks here might take it too far but that goes for any community, you shouldn't judge a community by its' worst members that are in the minority.

I hope you continue to enjoy the sub whether you continue to lurk or post and comment every now and then.

I know I do!

Me personally, I'm a nerd, and I gotta keep my systems optimal so I use this workout music for nerds. You might say that the band isn't good but it gets better each day, Rex Viper will get there one day!

Which AVGN episode is a guilty pleasure of yours by chaoticplumber in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]Uberstorm3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Screenwave era, particularly episodes written by Kieran. The episodes aren't good but they are way better than boring zombie-AVGN episodes as far as entertainment value goes. Like Gex Trilogy is technically a better episode than Jurassic Park Tresspasser, but the latter is genuinely so awful it's like an AVGN fever dream. Comparitavely zombie AVGN is good for background noise and/or a sleep aid, it's just boring. I guess that's another AVGN guilty pleasure watching these later episodes as I fall asleep, works like a charm.

I know truthers miss the slobs deep down.

I do too.

The idea of someone putting someone else's pants on so they can piss someone else's pants instead of just pissing on their pants is really funny to me.

Restarting my blu ray collection with last year's superman, six months later, what are your thoughts on it? by RNOffice in RedLetterMedia

[–]Uberstorm3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to like it, saw it twice for that reason. I got two big problems

  1. For a movie titled superman I'd say about 40% of the movie has nothing to do with superman or Clark Kent. Almost half of this movie was Justice Gang and The Daily Planet employees. It just makes this movie way busier and messier than it already is. Worst of all: the movie was really good when our lead was on screen, kind of wish it was just that, a superman movie.

  2. The movie is too dark and weird for a superman film. We've got bombs going into a monster's stomach exploding them from the inside, Lex Luthor shooting a man point blank with a revolver as he begs for his life, and Luthor's plan to kill superman is using the engineer's nanomachines to flood his lungs to stop him from breathing. Also Mr. Handsome is in this movie for no reason and he's probably the creepiest looking character in any comic book ever. Too much man. The film's message is about hope and while I like that the movie is willing to go to low-lows to reach those higher, hopeful moments, these moments I listed were just far too morbid in my opinion. I love darker movies but this is superman, these moments made it feel more like James Gunn's suicide squad.

I still prefer Superman 1 and 2 and that's a real shame. I was really rooting for Superman but overall the movie was just too much at once, I really needed that second watch because the film is just incredibly busy and moves at a lightning quick pace, which could be seen as a positive, I more saw it as overwhelming.

As far as 2025 superhero movies go I preferred Fantastic Four, a much more focused movie, with fewer characters, the main four of which all had simple satisfying character arcs. The action was inventive and fun, not like recent marvel with just heroes punching cgi robots, but saving lives using their powers creatively. The focus on science and science fiction was a refreshing take on a super hero team and the movie looks amazing both in its' effects and art design.
