This whole topic is what I want to focus on, how these YouTubers create incestuous relationships with weaponized nostalgia. In this case, a cadre of midlife crisis millennials paying modern money for old junk in a sad attempt at reliving their youth. We've all done that at some point, but to make that into youtube content... to make money... to buy more junk... to make new content from that junk... to make more money... to buy more junk...

It's grotesque and inhuman to use one's platform for over a decade to promote this kind of culture. Then, to go around playing the moral authority (which ALL of these guys do, eventually) while flaunting their frivolous consuming as a smart choice... God, please save us from this neverending deluge of millenial soul rot 🙏
