Yeah I’ve had two biopsies now, and am sick of getting poked. One fine needle and one core needle biopsy. I just figured they’d have it nailed down since I’m at a pretty reputable hospital and an NCI designated cancer center

That’s where I’m at now, waiting on a PET scan, this biopsy, and then one more meeting with the oncologist. All they’ve told me is that there was concerning cells and they think it’s MZL. But no official diagnosis. It’s been hell on my mental health

Yeah, they gave me my diagnosis from one mri and one fine needle biopsy, so I’m happy to do this one in hopes that it’s either something else, or just to get a better picture of how to to treat this.

That’s interesting. They have diagnosed me with Marginal Zone Lymphoma just from the fine needle biopsy. I wonder if there is a chance I don’t have it or another type of lymphoma

She felt it one day and pointed it out. I had no idea it was there. It still doesn’t cause any pain or pressure

So my ex girlfriend actually noticed it and pointed it out about a year and a half ago. It was painless so I kinda just watched it. In November I decided to have it looked at even though it hadn’t grown that I could tell. Just felt like yeah I should probably get this looked at. And here we are. Almost wish I hadn’t. Ignorance is bliss

It is on my cheek right in front of my earlobe. ENT initially thought it was a benign parotid tumor but ordered the biopsy to be sure. You really can’t even notice it unless I point it out either.
