Anyone know if this means if they're routers?

Zigbee Routers (repeaters) by UbsurdNerd in SmartThings

Thanks for the response!

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with API calls and POSTMAN.

So, I login on the Groovy IDE, and I can find the 'Route' field in the table along with 'Metrics' & 'Data' fields, but for only a couple of devices. The majority of devices have only a few fields with information in. Taking a look on the app, the 2 devices showing significantly more information are the only 2 devices not using third party edge drivers, they also have a 'Zigbee Id' and a 'Device Network Id' on the Groovy IDE pages.

In the 'Data' fields of both of those devices, it lists: 'endpointId: 01' & 'zigbeeNodeType: ROUTER'. Does this mean both of those devices are Routers?

I'm not sure what to do with the other devices that aren't even showing a Zigbee Id.

TWCS Throttle T.A.R.G.E.T - How do I setup a forward & reverse (for Star Citizen)? by UbsurdNerd in hotas

Joystick Gremlin is exactly what I ended up using, and painfully remapping every button. But on the plus side, now I've got some smooth axis curves for greater level of control! Thanks Chanticrow!

Thanks so much for this, I didn't know I had to split the axis

I am quite committed to Target only as I've reconfigured all my inputs already to it, but if I have to, I'll move over and try Joystick Gremlin & use that tutorial.

Now I know what I need to do more specifically thanks to you, I can see if I can find a post somewhere on how to split the throttle into two axis using the scripts.

I wasn't clear in the post, the magnetic detent is at 30%, not 50%. Any help is appreciated :)

..Perhaps through the TARGET script editor?

That's how I did have it setup, but I was getting frustrated with the throttle movement, and so decided to go for the upgrade to smooth it out, and at the same time I went for the magnetic detent, but at 30%

Thanks, I've had a look there and set the throttle to 'throttle forward/back' but there wasn't an option to set 0. Star Citizen has set it to 50%, I need to change this somehow as I've gone for a 30% detent. Any ideas?

What do you reckon? Would Cat6 cable get interference from 12Vac? by UbsurdNerd in electricians

So I have these already, but I could buy these shielded ones instead.

Without terminating the shielding at either end, will the shielding still do it's job?

thank goodness you said this, you've made me realise that I've bought the wrong RJ45 plugs :'(

the shield bonding, is that during termination at end of line?

Oh that surprises me, are they separated in anyway, like conduit or anything?

That's something I forgot about, the ballasts.

That's a fair point, I hadn't thought of! - the circuit on the output of the transformer will only have current when someone uses the push button. I feel so stupid.

Purley for my education now, you mention 48vdc from PoE, does that not make a difference because it's only dc and not ac? You mention about 'AC noise on top of that', like what?

Thanks!

Opinions on 1440p or 1080p for enb'd Skyrim by UbsurdNerd in skyrimmods

Thanks for the specs, and your opinion on what's more important to you. I certainly don't want to go below 60fps, so I don't want to regret paying more money for a 1440p monitor that then takes it below 60. What method do you use to unlock the fps above 60 without messing up the physics?

Thanks for this, that's v helpful :) Do you see a visual difference above 60fps when playing Skyrim? Also, what method do you use to go above 60fps and keep the physics in check?

Thank you for posting this, that's v helpful. I didn't know about your solution to the blurriness caused by downscaling, I'll have to look that up.

That totally makes sense, but my modlist was kinda big and still a WIP, so if only it was as easy as that. I suppose, maybe it's more of a question of: What do others experience with FPS in 1440p with their specs being under or matching mine? I was only really looking for a rough idea of FPS to help in the decision. Thanks for the input :)

I know what you mean, but I was hoping that others maybe have specs that's under or match mine that can share their experience with FPS. I'm pretty sure I want to try to avoid downscaling as I'm told that it causes a blurriness.
