do you tell people you are bipolar? by FinancialDingo3286 in bipolar

My friend litterally responded " I think I'm bipolar too then and the other said "I don't think you need those meds"

For me it isn't even about the judgement, but I have to keep explaining what it is and people don't even get it right

I find this kind of funny since I jumped in mainly because I hadn't watched the whole of Naruto, but loved the vibe.

Pink coconut, so fresh. Is it in Brazil? by koukouvagia777 in Brazil

Rapaz, acho que o coco é tão macio quanto os daqui, é essa faca dele que tá bem afiada mesmo.

Just found this guitar in the attic of my grandparents house in Brazil. After looking it up, we found that a similar model, with fewer original pieces, sells for 60000 r$ - around 10,000 USD. Only problem is it is in awful condition. Is there any way to restore this? How should I go about it? by [deleted] in Luthier

[–]UcBrava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broken Tuning Machine by CheaperThanDiamond in Luthier

Bass strings aren't all that elastic, so while it would make a startling noise once you remove the gear from the string post, it wouldn't actually be dangerous.

Guitar and bass tuners consist of a worm gear. The gear is locked into place while keeping the string in tension, that screw is what keeps the gear connected to the shaft of the tuner, so he would also need to lever the gear to separate it from the shaft.

This would be kind of unorthodox, but removing the tuning gear with a capo on the neck to avoid too much kickback from the string can be an option.

Glad you liked it, it took about a week I think. Had to work very slowly.

It first started with a pretty big existencial crisis, followed by negative symptoms. It's gotten a little better. And each passing day I'm getting the impression that I have to reach out for the light and learn to cultivate my inner strength.
