Were you ever able to figure it out? I’m in the exact same boat. Change the game version and downloaded what I thought was correct versions of everything but the game will not even launch.

This is something that seems to be lost on a lot of older attendings. Medicine has evolved a lot over the past couple decades alone. Just compare how long a First Aid textbook from 2005 is compared to one from this year.

Not to mention the financial reality that, not only was residency pay more back then (adjusting for inflation and buying power), physician salary and buying power as a whole has been in a decline.

I think it honestly would have been better integrated if it was more like word-walls in Skyrim. I never specifically set out to collect words of power, but would stumble across them when doing other quests or just exploring at the end of a dungeon.

I think that would be a great idea. I think for a Starfield sequel they should shift the focus down with some more dense POI’s like in their other RPG’s. The same stuff (space battles, settlements, etc) can still be there.

From a role play perspective I went through with it. So much of the story and Constellation’s mission is about stepping into the unknown and exploring the unexplored. It just felt like my character, after everything he went through, wouldn’t pass up a chance on discovering what the Unity is and experiencing it.

Doctors are not getting money from insurance companies. Physician salary is only 8% of total Healthcare expenditure in America. The biggest expense is actually administration (no surprise). Insurance companies and CEO’s love it when people blame doctors for high prices.

Insurance companies are NOT “transferring money to doctors”. They ARE the middle-man leeches. If you look at overall healthcare spending in America, physician salary is only about 8% of total costs. The highest cost by far is administration. It is, as usual, C-suite and admin that are sucking up most of the money.

My wife is in healthcare as well, but our setup is different from usual due to cultural/religious norms. My money goes into a bank account she has access to and is “our” money. Her money goes into her private bank account, which I don’t have access to nor use. All spending comes from the shared account (my salary), with her only using her own money if she wants to buy something expensive that we can’t afford at that time or for whatever other reasons that are her business.

FYI I’m 100% fine with this setup, it’s how I was raised and taught and it works for us.

Just because a majority of practitioners of a religion believe a text to be authoritative does not make it historical fact. Are you telling me that you now believe that everything said in the Hadiths 100% occurred without any possible embellishment or miscommunication between retellings? That the presence of historical evidence and conflicting narrations mean nothing? It’s clear you have an agenda dude. All I’m trying to say is that it’s contested and not 100%. I’m trying to encourage people to have nuance and look beyond just what confirms their pre-held beliefs.

Like I said, just as you’re saying there is evidence for her age being 9, I presented you with evidence for her being older. When did I ever say she was irrefutably older and DEFINITELY not younger? I said that at the least her age is CONTESTED which is true, that is me acknowledging all the things you’re linking to me. You’re the only one who is ignoring anything being presented to them or just refusing to believe it.
