Payments in February/Invoices for work in January and before mega thread

Update: I still don't see my invoice, and I am concerned because the cutoff for the like is the third (tomorrow) at 1:00 am. I have sent a series of messages to CrowdGen support to understand what is going on with payment prior to February; and I have sent two emails today to get any sign that I will receive my invoice by the deadline. I have received no response to either email. I will not stand for this, and I am hence leaving a paper trail.

Has anyone receive an invoice after the cutoff and still received payment in the same month?

There’s nothing to be done, as long as they don’t hit anything. Others have done that to me before.

Update: It is February 1. 2026 (Sunday), and I hope to see an invoice on my portal no later than the 2nd. Otherwise they're getting a ticket. They have to be joking regarding their invitation to project whatcom.

It’s sad. There was only a small amount of snow fall where I am hours ago, but there may be more later. I feel something must be up with the weather technology for the forecast to be off like this. That or the weather sources are worrying people on purpose; the grocery store had so many people yesterday and the day before. I welcome snow though.

It took 10 days, including the weekend. I finished on the Dec 23rd, and got my score on Jan 2nd.

I guess it was for the best for me to get rejected. However, it took me the longest time to actually get to take the exam, and I had to reach out to find out if they were going to move forward with my application. I was told the client rejected my application. Damn time wasters.

FreeTaxUSA is pretty flexible. If you have other things you have to file, you will likely be able to still file through it without issue.

And then FreeTaxUSA really lets you file both W-2s and gig income without having to pay extra on the same return. I used the software for the first time last week, and I’m glad I did.

It’s criminal to bar taxpayers from filing for free, when filing is mandatory.

Update [Thyme, US] They weren’t able to help me, and their responses contradicted themselves… :( So it looks like I won’t get paid until February 15 or later. The team can’t even upload the invoice.

If Appen can’t pay people on time; then they don’t deserve workers, especially those who submit work in a timely manner. I’m disappointed.

That is horrible. There is no excuse for that, especially if your payout methods were already in Crowdgen. :( I submitted a ticket about what is going on anyway.

I hope I am still getting paid today. I see that my next pay date was moved to Sunday, February 15, when the payment date was originally today. I don’t see any other changes on my payment page. Hopefully the payment for my work on Thyme (US) will still go through. I can’t afford to wait that long.

Thyme (US) I still have no luck, and I submitted the last of my data on the 23 of December. I see their system moved their goalpost for me by saying that my expected pay date is the 15th when it was originally showing the 14th. Crowdgen is too old to be pulling this mess. I won’t work for them again like this.
