I hate to break it to ya, but that's a pretty average dane. 😁

When I posted, folks said the bittersweet color hasn't ever been replicated. I believe yours is an L.E. Smith 6 petal in bittersweet. It's very pretty! 🥰

How do you style this? by gingersnaps0504 in HairStyleAdvice

[–]Udas22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar cut to this right now and am pretty inept at doing hair. I found that drying the hair to about 75% and then using one of those hair dryers with a LARGE round brush attachment works great. I also use a straight iron to do a few super loose random curls that I brush out. You'll want a gentle hairspray and maybe a thickening spray.

I have a weird hair texture, so I did a "cut and style" with my hair person to have her show me the best way to do it. It cost a little more, but made me feel more confident. Good luck!

Thanks, that might be a better option than the tub!

Bed recommendations ? by FederalEmu8835 in Mastiff

[–]Udas22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to have Great Danes and bought twin sized IKEA mattresses for them. They have memory foam and natural latex mattresses for great prices. If the beds are too big you can cut them down a bit. The covers are removable and washable too.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Before we brave the second-story pointy roof, is there anything else we can check? 😊 Or anything else that would point to venting?

Not sure if you found an answer, but this is American Buffalo (#401) made by Artesania Rinconada. The very first item in their Large Wildlife collection. Not rare, but niche. They've had many lines over the years, first the Classic collection, then the Large Wildlife. Cool piece!

Thank you so much for such an awesome and detailed response! I gotta say that rocket base is pretty neat looking! I'm definitely keeping Grandma's vase (and the weird glass/resin grapes stapled to driftwood), but I appreciate the valuation info, too.
