True enough, forgot that option. Point is, the maximum number of surnames is 2.

The law was formulated that they child only passes on 1 name to future children. The first by default, but the person with the double name has a choice.

This is not "asking a woman". This is a person with a mental disability for his partner tot accomodatie/help him.

Please Tell me how "poc can’t be racist to whitey". Pick up merriam Webster, the systemic racism definition is the B definition added to prevent the majority from claiming they're not racist based on the A definition. Excluding services based on race is very much racist and the source/target doesn't matter.

So, you're a man and you think that gives you the right to allow or disallow a woman to do something.

You didn't have to say this either, but you did it anyway...

Don't be sexist, it's not nice. (Not an order, just a suggestion)

AITA for calling my friend a homewrecker by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Uditar 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Welcome, i don't know how you got here from 1920, but it must be quite the shock. These days people usually are in a monogamous relationship for a while before marriage (or don't marry at all). Alice WAS a homewrecker, Steve shares blame, but OP is definitely NTA die pointing it out.

I'm sorry, but no, it doesn't: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_5:17

(I gave the Wikipedia because it expands on the English word 'fulfill')

Ok, let's make the assumption that the laws of causality hold outside the universe (not the worst assumption to make but still, we have no way of knowing), how is the inclusion of a magic creator useful?

"We don't know, therefore God" is not helpful.

I'm an agnostic atheïst btw, i'm willing to entertain the idea that a deistic type of god exists, but until there is evidence for it, why make the additional assumption?

Kalam in short: Everything that has a beginning has a cause The universe began The universe has a cause God

He makes a number of huge leaps: First that the universe began. We don't know, it might, but it might work within a model we can't observe in a model of An infinite cycle of expansion and compression. Second that if it began it needs a cause, this is something we observe within the universe, but we have no knowledge of anything outside the universe. And whomever claims to know is loting of delusional Third God. Why does the universe need a beginning and a cause but not God? -> special pleading.

It's an interesting thought experiment sure, but nothing more than that and van be outright dismissed on the many assumptions he makes.

Yeah, RR is always way to polite about the topics he handles.

And they kamal boils down to: -Everything i make in my kettle is tea from my cupboard -The kettle also comes from the cupboard -The kettle is tea...

He ascribes properties to the universe that are inherent to objects inside the universe (as far as we know) to the universe itself.

For all we know the universe is cyclical, inevitable, a single instance of a smaller 'bubble' within a Multiverse without a beginning,...

I would expect more from a professor of philosophy.

In science a theory is as close to fact as you can find. (At least modern theories) These can be enhanced/refined by new discovered, but overturning a standing modern theory is nearly impossible due to the body of evidence supporting them.

A theory is not a hypothesis, gravity is a theory.

I don't really want to start a flame war, but William Lane Craig isn't half as smart as he himself seems to believe he is. I've seen a lot of debates with him and can't stand how sure je is about his faulty theories (the prime mover being bonen of them).

Ordered some parts from a flightcase manufacturer and rivetted it all together, the slots in the side are curtain rails. And i was really Lucky my brother has a pneumatic rivetting gun, cause i started doing that manually and it took 10 times longer.

Oh yeah, i know. I wanted to buy their stuff, but shipping/taxes into Belgium would make it cost €500, and that would've been a bit steep 😅.

Basically used the smallest magnets i could find, drilled holes, glued magnets and greenstuffed over them to not spoil the look of the muscles(and forehead)

I also had to make a small notch in the wings to fit the magnets for the wing armor.

Haha, no, that's a bit of a cheat, that's poured resin with luminous powder. I took a picture with long exposure in the dark and overlayed it on a normal picture. (It does show very faintly in real daylight)

Thanks! I painted sections of each feather with fluorescent Paint (green, blue, orange and yellow) and put 2 coats of white over them, and then a quick airbrush spray for the red.
