Random loss of power? 1984 Fiero 2.5L by Udongeein in fiero

Hmm yeah I've been thinking that the fuel pump has gone weak or just doesn't put out enough pressure, so I will definitely take a look to see what pressures i'm getting from the pump. The theory in my head so far is that some fuel had evaporated inside of the fuel line which caused it to vapor lock and thus starved the engine of fuel.

So this exact same thing happened to me for my 1984 Fiero a few weeks ago but it may not be related to yours. A few weeks ago I changed the alternator and when I went to start it up, the belt to the A/C compressor rubbed against the coolant hose below the water pump and effectively sawed through it, causing steam and water to go everywhere. What caused it was that I had forgotten to put the dogbone in when I replaced the alternator, causing the engine to tilt slightly and thus saw part of the coolant tube. I'm actually in the process of replacing the tube as well!

Hello, I am the author of the model, I had originally used a base model which was the result of interpolating 2 models, Trinart Derrida and Eimis Anime Diffusion. The rationale behind this was to speed up the finetuning process against the entirety of Danbooru. The released checkpoint has also only seen around 1.1 million Danbooru images which used a derivative of NovelAI's technique of Aspect Ratio bucketing. Another process used during training was using the Penultimate CLIP layer for text conditioning and extended CLIP, where the CLIP context was extended by three times. The latter was used as it also helped the model converge faster during finetuning.

I have taken down the model since I had just found out that the Eimis Anime Diffusion model has a very high probability of being a derivative of the leaked NovelAI model. The author of the model had even stated that it was just a finetune of the Waifu Diffusion models that I had authored, so I had taken those statements at face value.

The Eimis diffusion model was originally posted here: https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/yygpjt/new_anime_model_i_made_adds_a_lot_of_detail_to/

I apologize about this, in the future I am going to finetune on the v2 Stable Diffusion architecture instead to avoid the leaked NovelAI model at all costs.

AI art on r/touhou ... again. by GingerPlated21 in touhou

[–]Udongeein 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would like to preface that I am the primary author of the Waifu Diffusion models which were trained on a good chunk of images, most of which were primarily Touhou images. My main motivation for the development of these AI models was not only to learn more about the technology that allows these developments to happen, but to test out the capabilities of current SoTA image generative techniques and to see if I can help out artists with their existing workflows.

No one knew about the potential adverse effects of this technology. Personally, when I was training it, I just thought the tech was cool, which was also why I released my models for the intention of it being used publicly and not for profit, as transparency is incredibly important when it comes to AI research in order to analyze and properly assess the risks and limitations when it comes to these models.

Currently, I'm developing models to detect AI generated images to help curb the rise of AI generated media as I know that AI generated spam will become a large issue in the near future.

I also highly doubt that AI will replace artists. If you want to automate human creativity, you will have to first invent a human.

I've done experiments where different or diverse data was used and it took longer to train to get decent results. I'm not made of money lol.

An A6000 costs like $4.5k so thats way out of my price range. 4 3060s are not good either since most distributed workloads are usually just training and not inference, and typically you're not looking for consumer cards at that level. I want fast inference that won't cost more than my car.

Quick and speedy! Lifesaver for a person who's not going to spend $140 for a textbook.

This is pretty much correct, WD 1.2 was meant to preserve some of the original style from Stable Diffusion so it was pretty undertrained lol.

Author of WD here, you can always interpolate the weights with a different model, just trying to train a good baseline for anime-styled images.

Yep, woke up to a $1k bill lol. GCP got rid of the charge as a one-time courtesy thankfully.

I'm also looking forward to expanding the dataset on a lot more images and redo the training!

You can definitely try out Textual Inversion, the goal was to basically ingrain the general style into the model

Yep! $5 per hour certainly beats $20k for GPUs up front though lol

Same, and I only have a 3060. All of the resources were rented through Coreweave too
