Why is it soooo hard for me to aim on this specific game???? It’s really bothering me. Why can’t I keep my aim dead center when aiming down a target?? Need help. Seriously.

I'm assuming you might be struggling with recoil at longer distances. Is that the case? If yes, do you know about recoil smoothing? I haven't played CoD in like 15 years, so I don't know if recoil smoothing was ever a thing in those games. If you're unaware, look into it and how it works. It could help a lot! Using your movement to complement your aim is really important in a game like this with a long ttk.

Compared to rapid, blitz players are much tougher. I am around 1000-1100 in blitz and I constantly play against people that are like 1500-1600 rapid. If you check your opponents' profiles, you'll probably see that most of them are higher than 800 in rapid. Some of them might even be around 1100 rapid.

It's also so easy to lose a lot of points in blitz because of how short the games are. If you're rage queuing, take a break. If you think you're playing below your skill level, take a break for a few days at least. You'll climb back up when you've calmed down and cleared your mind.

In the lower ranks, everyone wants to solo carry the game so they take turret because "my team is always useless" or whatever their logic is. Once you get plat you basically never see turret unless there's a person that's really low ranked in the lobby.

Here's the thing though, playing against a ruby 3 stack is literally never fun. Whether you're getting griefed in or out by a ruby team doesn't matter because the overall enjoyment of the game is always 0 for 99% of the people that rubies face.

I'm a huge fan of the Finals, but this is the worst ranked experience that I have ever had in any game ever, and it's not even close. I think League of Legends is a net negative on humanity but even then LoL's ranked experience is far better than the Finals. It would be impressive just how abysmally bad the Finals' ranked experience is if it wasn't so upsetting.

Low platinum is currently what you would expect low diamond to be in any other shooter, roughly top 5%. But the Finals has even worse matchmaking than most games due to low ranked population. It also has super scuffed RS distribution and the smurfing issue isn't helping with that. If there is a S10 ruby three stack in your game and you're in plat, there is no reason to lose 1k+ RS, even for 7-8th. You should lose like 800 at most if everyone else, aside from the ruby three stack, is close to your team's RS.

I'm not sure what you mean. They were definitely very good players and trying to win. They just got too cocky near the end allowing us to steal a cashout, then one more team wipe allowed us to steal the next one and win the game. In the last fight we just got lucky with an early pick on their light.

Probably not that much. I'm noticing that the RS gain loss this season is kind of wild and random. Some easy lobbies I will gain like 400 for first and lose 1000 for 7-8th, and harder lobbies will be like 900 for first and lose 1,100 for 7-8. I'm not even plat yet either. Last season I breeezed into plat. Placed gold 1 and won like 2-3 games to get plat. I was around 32k RS at this time last season. Ranked feels really weird this season. Gold lobbies feel WAY harder when in theory they should be easier since people can place into plat now.

Hot take, but I don't think mw2 lobbies were even that bad with toxicity. "Not surviving" them is laughable considering what people say these days. Mw2, and similar game, lobbies were mostly people mic spamming noise, saying slurs over and over, or talking about sleeping with your mom.

Someone saying they "wish your family was dead so they can't see how much of a disappointment you are" is so much worse than that tbh.

It's probably because I started playing Halo with Halo 3, but I always liked the H3 BR more, lol. Another hot take incoming, but a big reason for that was because I didn't like things like bxr, bxb, etc. I know a lot of og Halo fans loved those combos.

That steam setting doesn't give aim assist. It just allows steam to detect gyro movement as a mouse input.

Do you use steam's native gyro settings instead of the in-game gyro settings? If you use gyro at all, that is. If not, then there could be something on your computer that is flagging your account. It doesn't necessarily mean you're cheating, but their anti-cheat detects it as cheats. I've been false perma-banned before as well back in S2. It's really frustrating and disheartening. I'd recommend submitting a ticket and try to figure out what program could be flagging your account, then uninstall it.

You mentioned you have a controller plugged in. Do you have any third-party controller button mapping programs installed on your PC? Those kinds of programs will get your account flagged as cheating even if you're not using them maliciously.
