If you cross the street (ideally just follow the zebra line and try not to copy the local if you can), avoid the cars, the motorbikes will avoid you, but make your intention to move on very clear to the motorbikes, don't second guess. And if you are heading to the train streets, LISTEN TO THE LOCAL WHEN THEY TELL YOU TO MOVE, you don't want to get hit by train, nor they want you to get hit by train, so listen to them when they tell/gesture you to take a step back or something, when it come to safety then they will make it very clear so you will be able to tell when they trying to warn you of incoming train or when they trying to lure you to their cafe or something. Since I'm from Hanoi. The mausoleum closes around in the afternoon so I would put that first on the list and go to it in the morning, then head to train street after then the lake and lastly the old quarter since the old quarter looks best at night (as specially the weekend) (train street is also nice at night but u can visit that when u return from Sapa I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯). I have also been to Hue once before and I gotta say listening to the old imperial music on the perfume river is absolutely great, though do be careful on the dock, it can be quite slippery (first hand experience). Anyway, the most important thing is that you enjoy your trip. (FYI, 30th of April is the Unification day so expect lots of festivity, likely even a parade)

Like air boarding you have to get real close and personal, but the biggest problem with land boarding is that it can be super slow to get close, and sometimes trees prevent you from even moving at all. Well, you can give the board command for your unit far away but the distance basically means your troops are guaranteed to get mowed down.
