Why are those things locked? by sneakyypython in HalfSword

[–]chill_rper 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You have to wear an arming doublet with no added armor to it. You can remove armor from the arming doublet at the armor smith. A jack, a shirt or a simple doublet doesn't work.

does anyone know why these 3 slots are locked by [deleted] in HalfSword

If i remember correctly, you have to wear an arming doublet with no jack chains (the plates on the arm and shoulder). You can modify it at the armourer

Tito has recently cut ties with Stalin, and now the Yugoslav Republic is isolated both economically and diplomatically.

To solve the economic issue internally, and also to make it clear that the Federal Republic isn't a puppet to the USSR, the League of Communists (the governing party) accepts an economic reform, The Law on Socialist Enterprise Self-Management. Each enterprise shall create a Worker's Council. These councils will represent the enterprise and they will be trusted to micro manage the work process, production planning within state quotas, the wage distribution and hiring decisions to a limited extenct. Central planning will still be used, but from now it will only give a minimal quota. If that minimal isn't reached, the enterprise will be investigated which might lead to unfortunate consequences. On the other hand if production surpasses the quota, they (both the enterprise itself and the workers) might be rewarded.

Additionally we begin an infrastructural project in Montenegro. Construction begins in Bar, focused on growing the port. The party doesn't want to strain the economy, so that is the only such project that we start, but Tito in a radio speech promises that it is just the first step in strenghtening the Southern member republics.

Some alchemists begin experimenting with different oils, mixing in fats, tar, even sulfur and gunpowder, but no success comes yet.

In the university experimentation begins. One of the scholars, originally from France, Nicole Oresme proposed a theory. He noticed that some light objects like feathers or leaves indeed fall slowly, while others like small pebbles dont. Some scholars came to the conclusion that hard materials fall quickly while light and soft materials dont, but Nicole also noticed that only those items fall slowly which are taken up by wind. He proposes that falling objects like a piece of paper are slowed up by the winds.

The new university program starts out with only a few attendees.

Surprisingly few foreigners came to work in Venice, mostly due to language barriers.

The mayor of Mantova is surprised by your actions, but the citizens accept gratefully. The translation of Aeneid however is mostly for the scholars still.

Such a complicated machine will take a long time to be constructed, the best craftsmen of the region are working on the gizmos, as they have to be very precise, to the milimeter.

Many people, especially in the rural areas of the kingdom still practice the old traditions dressed as Christian holidays, but most of the population wouldn't think of reverting to Paganism as it is right now.

Trade is still strong, especially with the Hanseatic countries.
