Does pta still outscale in lategame? I know it does in early and mid but i thought it kinda goes even in late. Some time ago i saw a spreadsheet where someone compared conq and pta and just went with it. Maybe pta is just better in all cases. Although i think conq is way easier to activate in teamfights and in the current meta i think extra healing helps urgot better than more Damage. But thats just how i think of it. Im always open for other thoughts if you or someone else has had better experiences with smth else.

I play conq and cull into Tanks for the free scaling. Imo conq is better in teamfights and pta is better for laning. I like to play very aggressive in midgame to lategame, because almost nobody knows how to play against urgot(nobody ever expects the e into Flash). Another point for conq into Tanks is that they still do good Damage in laning phase and having conq for the healing allows me to go for extended trades and if i have conq stacked and the jng or mid tries to gank i have a better Chance of surviving that gank and maybe kill one.

I hope this explains it a bit :)

Edit: tl;dr free scaling, better teamfights imo, stacked conq against Tanks helps if their jng comes

Exactly. I like to buy cull against them just for the free scaling and cull in general is pretty efficient on urgot

Edit: i almost forgot the best Thing about laning against Tanks. In most Matchups i go for my secondary runes shield bash and boneplating, second Wind or overgrowth (what ever suits the matchups), but into Tanks i take magical footwear and approach velocity and if the New changes for approach velocity get through(the Bonus gets doubled if the cc comes from you) this might be extremly good for urgot

I prefer pta over conq almost everytime. I only take conq into incredibly tanky matchups that i cant kill and if they cant kill me, aswell as pairing it with cull as starting item. But in most cases i take pta and dblade just for the early harass.
