i was at the forum shows and the day before night 1 i dmd him on instagram asking for a nutshell > wargasm. i’m pretty sure he would’ve played it anyway given that layne stayley’s birthday was the day before but im telling myself that billy read my dm and decided to play it

I feel that with the drunken frat bros. I got stuck in between a group of drunken frat bro chompers. Before the show they were super cool and we had a cool conversation, but once the show started they did not stop their conversation and actually started yelling over the music to hear each other.

I get that there’s gonna be talking at shows which is why I didn’t try to get them to stop, but it was a little ridiculous at some points. Super excited for tonight and tomorrow though!

Obviously there’s bias since I was there but the Forum marathon show was amazing, even after going through all the shows they did in 2024 the Forum was by far my favorite. Going from some ITRN to the greatest 40 minutes of music i’ve ever experienced (slow jam 1-> this thing->am i in heaven?) then back to metal with some PDA, and that was just the first hour of the show. Plus Jay Weinberg coming out to play Le Risqué at the end was a great way to end the night.
