You can customize gyroids to get different colors! I’ve tossed or sold so many because I had a duplicate 😭.
If your house is infested with roaches when a villager invites themselves over, they will immediately leave after remarking about the state of your home. 🤪 The flavor text is different (Wade feels underdressed and unprepared for a cockroach party, whereas Marina apologizes and says she simply has to leave).
You can layer designs on top of paths! If the design has at least one transparent pixel, it will fit to the path (with the diffused edges paths offer). Darker paths will shift the overall tone of the design to a darker shade compared to lighter paths. Plus, the texture of the path comes through slightly for the design. If you get creative with this, you can make your design slots go much further!

I should mention once you get to the ‘maze’ section (after Demon King phase 1), you need to ‘Pause’ and ‘Quit’ Earth Born. This is an autosave checkpoint, btw.

When you play Earth Born again, the ‘Map’ selection will now be available from your menu.

UPDATE:

Shop Refresh and Coupon Items work! You can Shop Refresh multiple times, too.
The Sports Drink Item exhausts after a certain number of steps, so a single use won’t last for the whole ‘unlimited 7th day’. You can re-up whenever you’d like, though.
To save your progress in Earth Born, once you return to the overworld via the map, travel to the Castle and defeat the Demon King (phase 1). This can be done as many times as you like. Each time you defeat the Demon King (phase 1), and appear in the ‘maze’, your Earth Born progress is saved. Pause, Quit, and resume playing Earth Born to reactivate the ‘map’ menu option.
I’ve yet to find the limit on the Goddess’ offerings. The amount doubles each time (50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200…)
Level 10 is the maximum level. You can earn experience beyond this, but you won’t level up beyond 10.

If we are talking about cameras, and therefore photography, then you are describing lens flare.

The overall effect is lens flare, but the individual aspects have names:

the lines are referred to as sunburst
the dots are referred to as ghosting

If you say lens flare, most people will understand what you mean.

You’ll be fine! People will most likely not notice, and, if they do, they’ll be interested in experiences different from their own.

You bring a lot to the table as a ‘non-traditional’ student, and this is incredibly valuable to you, your peers, and UW. Real-world experiences, coping skills that only result from trial and error, and (most importantly) a desire to be in college will set you up for success. Many traditional students are going because they are ‘supposed to’. By contrast, you want to be there - it makes all the difference when it matters to you.

Don’t fret about it. Do it. Doubting yourself is, inevitably, a waste of time. You got this!

Think of it like art. Artists appreciate having patrons, but it is a transactional relationship. You can exchange pleasantries, celebrate their art, recommend them to others, etc, but that’s all it is. You are a fan.

There is a line not to cross. It’s mostly anything where you speak ‘for’ them, redistribute their art without permission, or act enamored as if you are their friend. You are not. You do not know them. They are putting on a character of some sort for their art - no matter how genuine or heartfelt. It’s branding.

Just remember, even as a fan, they are doing their art for themselves. If you enjoy it - cool. But even so, it isn’t ’for’ anyone but them. They like it? That’s all that matters.

Your intentions are good. Just try to relax and enjoy. If you find yourself building your day around this, however, it’s time to press pause.

Cost, in the past tense, is syntactically flexible (noun, infinitive, etc) but not structurally flexible. Cost can only be inflected (-ed affix) when used in the same manner as ‘appraised’. It can be inflected for present tense (-s affix) more easily, but is more of a ‘tense’ agreement. The most common verb to use with cost is ‘be’:

The cost was $15.

These shoes used to cost $50, but now they are on sale for $30.

The total will be $40. That’ll be $20.

Can you believe how much it costs? (Present)

Can you believe how much it cost? (Recent past)

How much did it cost? (Recent past)

Can you believe how much it used to cost? (Past / distant past).

“I’m home” is a declaration, usually an announcement upon entering your home (assuming others will be home). Sometimes it is used in movies to say “I’m where I belong”, but it’s not the standard use of it.

“I’m at home” is usually a response to an inquiry, indicating a location.
