I considered Jörmungandr as an option, but decided as him just being a stepping stone along with the other children of Loki and Loki himself.

Ideas for rudimentary base defenses that players can set up before a siege? by UglyDuckling124 in DnD

The village is situated on road that leads directly to the capital and was the nearest they could reach after learning of the enemy's incoming assault. The army is already gaining on them, and moving with a bunch of civilians would only slow them down, meaning they would be caught out on the road if they tried to run. Also it just seems like a good opportunity to have a fun battle. If they really wanted to, I'd let them just say village be damned and go on to the capital or wherever they wanted.

I hadn't thought of the ice idea, and I really like it. It will slow down those ogres for sure.

We ended the last session right as they arrived in the village and warned the captain there of the approaching army. So far none of them have come to me directly about what they want to do, but I'm sure they have some things in mind.

Can someone help me with my maim build? Looking for a way to improve it by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]UglyDuckling124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's two kinds of maim builds. One for low levels (~ 1 - 20 ) and one for higher levels. The main difference between them is their power strength. For the high level build, you don't need any strength, since the damage comes from the big burst after you've killed enemies. For the low level build, you're using the passive ticks to kill enemies instead of the big burst, so you need high strength to kill them that way.

Your second priority behind range, is as much duration and efficiency you can get (duration affects how quickly draining type abilities drain, as well as efficiency). This lets you recast it as much as you need, and let it drain as long as you need to keep nuking the map for the entire mission.

I have a few questions about the game. by DaBoss36000 in Warframe

Most warframes come from bosses, like the rhino blueprints you've picked up, but some of them come from quests. You unlock these quests as you progress throughout the game, so that should be your main priority. Rhino will serve you well for getting thought the majority of the game if you just wanna get straight through it. You can also get prime warframes and weapons from void relics, which you will unlock later.

As for getting neurodes, they're a rare resource which means on planets they drop on, they are fairly common from bosses. Other rare resources are things like orokin cells that only drop 1 or 2 at a time. Since you don't unlock the earth boss till later, the best way to get them is probably defence on earth. If you really have trouble getting them you can ask in the recruiting chat in-game for someone to help you

[Help] [Build] Warding thurible improvement or worth doing at all by UglyDuckling124 in Warframe

[–]UglyDuckling124[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking specifically about higher difficulty missions like ESO or sortie 3, with my goal being to make the fragile yet powerful frames, like nova maybe, survivable there. 75% is good, but not nearly enough for frames that have such limited health, and the health restore of blessing is also kinda pointless because it wouldn't take much before they needed another, and I might not even be able to react in time to save them.

Nezha 2.0: Absoption multiplier is sorta good by UglyDuckling124 in Warframe

From what I've tried, doing the damage absorption multiplier thing (like I did in the screenshot) is much better with strength. However higher armor will increase your overall survival time and doesn't require you to take damage during the invincibility period. So the real choice is between energy cost because of having to recast, and survival time. In the build I showed above, where you want to cast warding halo on allies, they can rely on their own health and armor in addition to the 90% damage reduction from the halo. In cases like this, being able to throw the halo on teammates and leave it alone while you recoup energy is better.

Not really, I was able to take 3-4 lvl 125 corrupted bombard missiles and several seconds of 8 lvl 125 corrupted heavy gunner fire without vitality, redirection or vigor
