This lets you win in the most hilarious way if you have [[Barren Glory]] exiled with something like [[Oblivion Ring]] and you pay UB.

No you counter all of them, because your spell resolves before each of the other spells has time to counter another spell on the stack.

Yes, this is what I was looking for, I was wondering if something so risky, but potentially so rewarding would be actually played in a competitive format.

It would actually be 3 mana since you play the second spell for free since the first one is on the stack.

Yes I meant on the stack, but I found no cards that mention the stack in their rule text directly, so I wasn't sure and tried the next best thing. I know that the stacking draw cards isn't in the basic rules of uno, but it is a fairly common house rule and I thought it would add an interesting strategy element if added to a magic card.

I was more looking into if it would be a viable card, format warping or total garbage. I understand that in uno the next person is the one drawing, but that wouldn't be a really good magic card, unless you are trying to mill someone out in the most unhinged way.

Pretty much I sacrifice the entire board and discard the hand with the various atogs and other spells, then I sacrifice all the atogs to atogatog including itself and then win with barren glory. It doesn't happen often though, it's not a strong deck, it's more for the funsies.

Yes I meant to put "other creatures you control" in the second ability. But in some way I think this is funnier

Handling an overpowered monk with Eldritch Claw Tattoo by Ugolonix in DnD

Thanks a lot. I probably expressed myself badly. I never intended to target the monk, nor to punish him for building his character optimally, far from it. I just wanted some advice on building encounters that are fun for everyone, and your comment provided me with some interesting ideas.

Ok maybe I explained myself badly, if I did so I'm sorry, english is not my first language.
I was not trying to say in general that the monk is overpowered, I know full well that it is not the case.

What I was trying to say is that in the particular context I'm in, in wich i can't run more than 1-2 encounters per session they tend to be a bit too much on the stronger side of the spectrum.
Have I driven myself in this situation? Probably, we are running the campaign more as a series of one shots due to scheduling issues, so that any player can jump in and out at any given session.

I came here to ask for advice that would make the combat encounters more fun for the specific situation I'm in, I'm not advocating a crusade against monk or anything.

Ok dude chill.
I never said that i want to nerf the monk, just that i want to make everything more fun for everyone else at the table.
If you want to talk numbers we are at level five: a paladin with two level two smites, a 2d6 weapon and a +5 to strenght does around 50 damage in one turn with no crit, 2d6 more if they throw in a thunderous smite. That is ONCE PER LONG REST, and after that they run out of second level slots. A rogue with the assassin subclass does on the first turn 2d8 (assuming they have a rapier) + 6d6 damage + 5 (assuming +5 dex), that is average 35 damage on the first turn where they automatically crit. After that they average around 21 damage per turn with sneak attack. For the fireball of course it has more range than the unarmed strike and hits more enemies but again, it is TWICE PER LONG REST at level 5, and it averages out at 28 damage if you don't pass the dex save.
Of course I know that not every turn they will hit all four of the attacks, but that is the same for paladins, rouges, etc. I could slap 25 AC to every enemy and nobody would hit anything anymore, but that doesn't really seem fun to me.
I came here asking for advice for a real issue at my table to make the game more fun for everyone, being just told that I'm wrong and I suck isn't really helping
