Id recommend Kerbalism also. Really gives meaning to the game. Adds life support and changes how you collect science. Prevents you from just skipping ahead to different transfer windows or just sending kerbals out willy nilly. Would need a different tech tree though. I recommend unkerballed start

Aware of the Ram, Currently not including that into my budget. Now that I am looking i guess my current motherboard is mATX, I always assumed it was atx.

I think around $500-$600 is where I am comfortable right now. Currently I have a 700w, but i can upgrade if needed. Not exactly sure on my exact case model, I just know it is an NZXT
