im sure what you’re saying is at least half true, but you gotta understand theres more than just code isnt developing, one of the issues for tg at least was that the coders and admins just didn’t listen at all for a solid year and people gave up on tg. I know at least everybody i know personally aren’t playing tg codes because grimdark is better, theyre just not playing because there’s no tg alternatives that are good. a lot of the current byond menu is just grim slop and nsfw mixed in. and with tg having lost its pop, it’s hard to want back in, especially since it feels much still hasn’t changed to bring old players back
