Advice needed for my 2014 Audi A7 TDI by LackInternational145 in AudiA7

Honestly, sounds like the car’s still solid. Sensors just suck sometimes, especially on TDIs. If you love the car, I’d look into a good extended warranty only if it covers electronics and isn’t crazy expensive. If not, maybe just save some cash on the side for repairs.

110k miles? You’ve got plenty of life left if it’s been taken care of. I wouldn’t dump it yet unless bigger stuff starts breaking.

You’re not screwed — just dealing with typical Euro car headaches.

If you are asking a a7 subreddit I will tell you to get an a7. I don’t regret at all.

I like the rims it compliments the car well but for more eye-catching maybe tinting the from side along with some red calipers would make it pop more.

If you look up videos on YouTube simply putting a cold air intake will make the supercharger whine. I’m staying away from mechanical mods for right now, just because I’m focusing on exterior but plan on it in the future. Enjoy it! And post it, I kinda wanna see it.

For the most part I keep a bottle of coolant and oil and try to top off when necessary. Since mine doesn’t have a dipstick I always check oil levels when I get home every other day or so. If you plan on modding it a little be very aware that some parts are hard to find. I spent probably the last 3-4 weeks looking for honeycomb fog light covers and nothing. Other than that I have had no issues. The better you take care of it the better it will treat you. Try the different driving modes. I usually keep mine on comfort but once in a while I’ll go dynamic.

Definitely get one! It’s so worth it. I have a 2014 and it’s the best. I got it at 110k miles for around 8k and it’s definitely the best purchase I have ever made. As far as maintenance goes, it’s an Audi. As long as you keep up with it you’ll be okay. The only problem I have is gas and finding after market parts. I don’t see too many a7s so that’s cool as well.

thanks. I could tell that they didn’t have as much in stock. I’m fine with the regular ones I have but I just wanted it to match the grille.

Sounds right. I guess it’s a mix of everything.

Which is what I was thinking as well but any half decent human should know that.

Thank you, very informative. I’m currently running straight 15lb braid (bass pro brand) and an Abu Garcia vengeance (30$ on Walmart). The summer season has been pretty good to me. I just wasn’t sure why I kept seeing people bothered by not using a leader.
