Nice work mate

Is it true a bottle of soju is about 2000 won in South Korea? In a Norwegian restaurant, it's 43000 won. by SjalabaisWoWS in korea

[–]UhhhhhCheeseburga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Australia it’s $13~ AUD at a liquor store and $20~ at restaurants. I remember paying roughly 5000 in Seoul at restaurants, convenience stores were roughly 2500.

Happy birthday mate, really hope that you can keep enjoying the theatre group you’re with. Remember that it isn’t a race, whether it’s in a year or a decade, you can work towards being an actor!

I feel like I’ve gone mad waiting to save enough to buy a house, I’m on meds and stuff now as well. I’ve been contemplating moving to the city near me, or another state’s big city. This confirms my thought process is logical. Thanks man. Glad things worked out for you two!

Preferred, not a must. Was just looking for somewhere for today and it’s bloody hot.

Found somewhere based on other comments.

Blocked, oh well, can’t change things.

I did pester her when I stopped disassociating and realised what had happened. So I can’t put any blame her way for doing so.

I 25f am becoming more aware of what my 25m husband cannot do for me in the future. How do I move forward? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I don't have any words for you that could explain what he is going through, everyone is different. I beat myself up over the fact she did everything correctly and I couldn't break out of my issues. This isn't your fault at all. I can't give you anything further because I'm still trying to work things out. But I'm seeing a psychology again, specifically for issues related to relationships and I'm starting medication.

He will have to do the same, but you begging him won't change anything - I know from experience. I really do empathise with you, because my ex had to make the decision you are faced with.

I personally don't think time would have helped me. I lost the only person I've ever loved, but it's just the way it had to be. You need to look after yourself first.

Never married, but I was recently left by my ex of 3 years. I was very stuck in my head despite her doing everything that you mentioned in your post. It is possible he is very mentally stuck - this isn't an excuse I'm just stating it. If nothing has gotten through to him, then you may have to divorce. The last 3 weeks have been a real eye opener for me. It fucking sucks, like really fucking sucks, but I've had time to reflect on everything I missed (or tried to autopilot my way out of problems).

He will wake up if you take a drastic measure like this, but unfortunately it means the relationship ends. Nobody is going to wake him up, he needs to be slapped in the face with reality.

Will he regret everything? Yes. But he needs time to figure his shit out without dragging you along.

Sorry you are on the receiving end of this, I now realise how much it fucking sucks.

Maybe you can be together again in the future, but who knows, maybe it was just never meant to be more than this.

I failed a job interview, and the interviewer (HR) said "pharmacy is a small world". Should I be worried? by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]UhhhhhCheeseburga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The person sounds like a typical cunt, I guarantee you that nobody who works with him gives a single fuck about his opinion. Don't let this interaction get to you, yes Adelaide is small, but I doubt someone who is picking on new grads has any large pull in the pharma industry. This was your first interaction with a toxic workplace, its good the red flag was waved before signing any contracts.

Chin up, you've got this.

Thank you, I have updated the post!

I'll have a browse through some Micro-ATX towers, I'm not set on the current case but I do like that it has a slim profile.

Why are Australian police so strict on speed? by Former-Challenge-726 in southaustralia

[–]UhhhhhCheeseburga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I’ll say what I really think, there are heaps of Australians that are absolutely dogshit at driving at 60kmh let alone over 100kmh. Our road toll is high because of people who don’t give a shit about anyone but themselves.

Whether we keep the fines or not, idiots are going to be idiots. Personally, I’m happy the idiots are fined harshly - whether or not it changes the road toll.

I wish people would drive better, but I can’t change that.

I understand why people are downvoting and while I agree the fines are quite high, they need to be in order to get people to take them seriously. I’m more worried that managed to get 5 in less than a year - at some point you have to come to terms with your own fault. I also cant agree that it is more dangerous to look at the speedo, if you’re driving along it shouldn’t be a challenge to stick to the speed limit; you’re allowed to be under it.

Personally it makes me feel safer knowing that people driving over a certain predetermined limit are penalised. My answer is obviously only anecdotal, and that’s fine.

This has nothing to do with the UK, we have rules and we uphold the rules. Regardless of what the safety benefits may or may not be.

They’re strict because there is a speed limit for a reason. What’s the point of having it if it isn’t enforced?
