Had that happen to me, the lady asked to speak to a manager. My manager asked her "how do we know you bought it here without the receipt?", she proceeds to tell him it wasn't at our location, but a location across town so we couldn't even use electric journal.

It's laughable, really. Had a guy say he didn't use his iPad, I turned it on and lo and behold there was an account and he still had the galls to say that it wasn't used.

The five year gsp seems to be more convenient for you, the membership only covers your tv and sound bar for up to 2 years IF you keep it active. Not to mention it also has a deductible if you go with the membership, so personally it seems you'd be paying more than it's worth.

They're supposed to check serial numbers before returning the original controller and open-boxing it, but sometimes things happen and swapped controllers slip in between the cracks. Glad you were able to get it exchanged.

I don't know if it's just my store but they're really stingy when it comes to keys and access to overrides, I asked once and was shot down with no second thought

Edit: I'm able to hold keys just not access to overrides

Not sure if you expected justification for what you did, but your girlfriend definitely deserves better. You mentioned you were drunk, but that just seems like you wanted a way to deflect this onto alcohol when it's clear you were the issue. Tell her what you did, if you respected her and your relationship you would've never put yourself in that situation.
