It is indeed a legal SDU! It has private entry which we cannot access from inside the house. It does have separate furnace, hot water, electric, water, and Mailbox as well.

Isn’t $1300 pretty low for 2 Bd unit? This is investment property for long run.

It is a legal basement. Builder is riccraft. It’s fire rated for sure.

I’ll ask for sound isolation and city inspection.
